History

Travelodge was built in 1992 - 1993 and opened its 38 guest rooms, under the name of Angels Inn Motel,to the public in July of '93.  In 1995 20 more guest rooms were added to the property for its current total of 58 guest rooms.

The décor welcoming you in the lobby and throughout is meant to enlighten guests with visions from our historic past. Each room is adorned with an original line art drawing  of a jumping frog by Barbara Fracchia and copies of historic photographs depicting life in Calaveras County in the 1800's and early 1900's. The original photos and many more may be viewed at the Calaveras County Historical Society on Main Street in San Andreas.

We pride ourselves on taking excellent care of our guests and making them feel at home from the instant they step through our doors.  We will do our best to accommodate your needs in any way possible.
